Manny Notre, 6Lack, Rema and Tion Wayne have come together in a star-studded linkup to drop a banger, 4AM. 6lack described this song as bridging the gap between four different worlds, and he couldn’t be more right.
The track Is kicked off by Nigerian artist, Rema. He rides the beat with a smooth melodic tone, giving it an upbeat, summer vibe. 6lack then comes in with the chorus, continuing with his own melodic style. The chorus is effective, catchy and helps the with the structure of the track.
Tion Wayne jumps on the track by bringing through the London Vibe. The rapper starts off with straight rapping but then switches up to a more melodic flow, keeping his verse fresh. Manny Notre’s verse is also melodious which keeps the track consistent.
The visuals have a tropical aura to it. The scene is set in a sunny climate with palm trees in view. All artists are rocking colourful, summer clothes. The visuals go hand in hand with the song, creating that ultimate summer feeling.
Having four artists from different backgrounds coming together for a track could be a risk. However, for these talented individuals, the risk paid off as they all brought their own style whilst making sure the track stayed coherent. This one will be getting lots of playtimes as the summer months approaches.
