Boris Johnson's call for a lockdown has confined us all in our homes. And as daunting as it may sound, it's super important that everyone stays inside and follows the rules. Meeting up with your friends or leaving the house for non-essential travel will do more harm than good in the long run.

Being on lockdown doesn't have to be boring, not if you keep yourself busy and/or entertained. Here is what a few names in UK music have been doing while at home, with a message to their listeners too:

What are you doing to keep busy during quarantine?

“I’m chilling. There isn’t much to do. I’ve just been watching Netflix, working out, chilling with family. Nows a good time to kick back with the family. Sometimes a quick FIFA ting or writing music. Calling my peoples too.”

What’s your go-to quarantine dish or snack?

“This lockdown is making me appreciate homecooked food more. Jollof rice - it’s always good, it just slaps, add a cold little drink, that’s the one, man”

“I’m watching this show called Snowfall on BBC iPlayer, with Idris in it. It’s a bit like power but in the 80’s - mad. Money heist, Ozark. There’s a few I can’t give you just one. But if I had to pick one it’s Money Heist”

What message do you want to give to your listeners to encourage them to stay home?

“For everyone that’s in self-isolation, it’s so important to stay in the yard. I know it might be negative but try to make it positive. Spend time with your family, work on your hustle, work on your craft. If not that then kick back, facetime your friends, watch some Netflix.”

“I’ve been doing a lot of brainstorming, trying to come up with a lot of content, videos and writing some songs, editing, overall just trying to be really creative.”

“Learning new skills like mixing and recording myself in my home studio set up. I’ve seen a big improvement in my mixes and I’m able to send demos too. I’ve been teaching myself to record visuals as well. I’ve just been pushing myself to think further and be creative with my promotion. I’ve also been exercising and cooking.”

What’s your go-to quarantine dish?

“I’m cooking a lot more than I normally would. I’ve been making gnocchi with a pasta sauce to go with it’

“Just finished unorthodox, it’s about Jewish values and orthodoxy.”

“If you stay home you’ll save lives and you can develop new skills since we have time. Youll be rewarded because you’ll know you’ve played a part in preventing the virus from spreading.
