RV has dropped some new visuals to ‘Like Usher’. The Tottenham artist has similes for days which he displays as he spits over an airy drill beat.
This banger is an example as to why RV is one of the main figureheads in drill. The lyrics entail everything you would expect from a drill tune. They are braggadocious with a violent undertone.
This one takes a few listens to pick up on all the references used. The clever wordplay paints the full picture, making it an entertaining listen.
The visuals are simple. In one scene, RV stunts on all of us by getting his haircut; a luxury most of us are deprived of in these unprecedented times. The visuals also include RV in the studio as well as driving with a sweet one.
With RV, it is not just all about cruddy bars. The rapper is also very talented at storytelling. The way he describes scenarios to the listener, makes his tunes feel authentic.
