Comedian Mo Gilligan sits down with Preeya Kalidas, at the BBC Asian Network, for an in-depth interview about starting a career through Instagram, the comedian's Netflix special, Momentum, and more.
Recently Mo's Netflix special, Momentum, aired on the streaming service and ever since it has been the topic of many conversations. In this interview, Mo explains to Preeya what inspired the material in the stand-up special, as well as his Instagram impersonations. Furthermore, the pair go back in time to the comedian's childhood, where Mo opens up about his dreams.
In just over 20 minutes they manage to touch on enough topics to give newcomers, as well as loyal fans, an insight into the comedian; even touching on his mother's reaction to being included in his stand-up special.
