This is big, big news. Following the success of Training Day 1 and Training Day 2 Potter Payper, who’s hit the ground running having done just over three years in the can has announced the release of his upcoming project, Training Day 3.
Potter teased us with a post on Instagram, showing the album art and tracklist. It consists of 24 tracks with only one feature, Potter’s old school friend and fellow rapper ‘Mover’. For those of you who don’t know about Mover, he had a promising rap career ahead of him a few years back but he did something foolish in the heat of the moment and sadly got lifed off.
It’s clear Potter’s workrate has been unparalleled this year, as this is the second project he’s released - bearing in mind he was in prison for a noticeable amount of this year. Within hours of his release from HMP he had released his EP entitled ‘2020 Vision’.
Potter hasn’t specified a date for its release, but in an interview with GRM Daily, the Essex lad said: “I’m planning to drop Training Day 3 this year and then looking at a next project that will be collaboration heavy because I haven’t really done a collab project so I’m really gonna start going studio with my favourite artists right now and make some serious bangers. I’m just excited to see what’s gonna happen.”
