Winter Wonderland has been cancelled due to the coronavirus, announced event organisers.

Event organisers of Hyde Park’s popular Winter Wonderland have announced today that, for the first year since opening, the event will not be going ahead. Winter Wonderland has been taking place annually for 13 years.

There will be much disappointment as the attraction is visited by many, locals and tourists.

“Our team has worked tirelessly, exploring every possible option in the hopes of being able to move forward with the event in a responsible manner and provide London with some much-needed festive cheer,” stated organisers via the Winter Wonderland official website. However, due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 virus, they couldn’t go ahead without compromising the experience.

Winter Wonderland will be back in November 2021.
