The second episode of the uncompromised story of GRM Daily is out now. Together We Rise tells the story of the music promotional platform and how founder Posty has impacted the UK and the global music scene.
The four-part documentary focuses on the journey of GRM Daily who launched their YouTube channel in 2009 and have since gained an influence, highlighting the growth of the Black British grime and rap talent. The documentary features interviews with Skepta, Giggs, Stormzy, Julie Adenuga, Kano, Ghetts, Aitch, Ms Banks, and many more notable talents.
Episode 2 of Together We Rise gives an insight into why the music promotional platform began, expressing the absence of a direct link to grime music being available, and explores the iconic platform’s journey to success.
The third episode of the documentary will premiere on October 5, with the finale broadcasting on October 8.
