Joshua and Pulve were set to fight each other before, but due to injuries and surrounding circumstances such as COVID-19 the pair has been delayed to square off in the boxing arena. However, the much-anticipated fight between two elite boxers in their prime is once again on track.
Eddie Hearn gave a prompt potential date for the event but was yet to confirm a venue. It’s safe to say the world title match-up will take place this year and based on what Eddie Hearn suggested it will likely take place in the UK.
Hearn said, “Is there a set date for Pulev-Joshua? Yes, it will be December 12. We are just getting that over the line. Hopefully, you will get an announcement next week.”
