Leicester born, yet with a voice that transcends time and place, Morgan Munroe is a soulful musical gem. Her polished songwriting skills allow her to capture heartfelt emotions that she delivers through breathtaking vocals.
Taken from Munroe’s forthcoming EP, Layers 0.5, set for a November release, ‘Mama Taught Me’ is an emotionally-rich Ruby Francis production. It sees the vocalist convey honestly, and delicately, through piercing runs that create a flawless finish.
Directed by Alexander Saunders, the accompanying visuals see Munroe singing alone throughout multiple home-styled shots, where dark meets colourful through cleverly edited transitions.
