West London's own Nito NB returns to Link Up TV with his newest song entitled 'Breathe'.

The song may sound a little bit different to what you're used to from Nito, as he wrote the song entirely from scratch after receiving mindfulness counselling moments before penning the track in collaboration with youth charity Snow-Camp.

Snow-Camp have launched a new campaign 'Stop.Breathe.Think.' to try and combat knife-crime in the UK. Stats revealed that knife crime was at an all-time high in the 12 months up to March 2020 and has continued at a similar rate since. 'Stop.Breathe.Think' is about teaching people to manage their emotions to help them make the right decisions in moments that can greatly impact the rest of their lives.

Nito underwent a session before writing and recording the song and he said that it helped him when writing his bars for the song.

"My conversation with Kevin actually helped because hearing what a next man has been through, kinda makes you re-live what you've been through and then it's easier to express yourself. Music is about expressing yourself."

The video is directed by Tadas and focuses on taking a deep breath in hard moments to think twice before affecting your life with one bad decision. Nito gave some advice to the youth too about how to stay out of trouble.

"My advice would be find someone you can vent to, find someone you can chat to. Don't just go around being an angry yout and go and find a hobby. Then be angry in that hobby."
