London-based songstress Rebecca Garton unveils her debut EP, Take Me Home — featuring recently released Jeremih collaboration, ‘Comfortable’.

Boasting 7-tracks, Take Me Home is the long-awaited debut project from R&B singer, Rebecca Garton. Nigeria-raised, yet of British and Ghanaian background, the Rebecca has acquired a strong musical heritage. Take Me Home sees that displayed through the blend of African and Pop influences with her melodic sound.

Take Me Home explores what home means to Garton. From Africa, to her family, to the relationships that weren’t meant to be, home has many meanings to the singer. "Culture and where I’m from plays a massive part,” Garton says of the EP. “Even down to drum patterns or certain words, I may use African language or context to say certain things. It’s something I’m very proud of, as much as I’m British and my dad was English, the African part of me is such a big part of my life, it’s really who I am down to my core. It’s important that people understand that.”

The project includes previously released singles ‘Don’t’, ‘Comfortable’ and both parts of ‘All Me’. Alongside a dedication to her father in the form of her title track. Enlisting the likes of Jeremih, Fireboy DML, Louis Rei, Tia Carys, Ling Hussle and Alana Maria for features, Garton offers a well-rounded project that showcases her versatility.
