Dame Barbara Windsor Dies At Age 83

Dame Barbara Windsor, popularly known for her prominent role in soap opera Eastenders as 'Peggy' has sadly passed away at 83 years old.
Her husband Scott Mitchell says "It is with deep sadness that I can confirm that my darling wife Barbara passed away at 8.35pm on Thursday 10 December at a London care home". Barbara's cause of death was due to Alzheimer’s/Dementia, as she peacefully passed in company of her loving husband.
Scott Mitchell says “Barbara’s final weeks were typical of how she lived her life. Full of humour, drama and a fighting spirit until the end".
She will be dearly missed.
