When South London’s RA stepped in for Rapman last year, he came hard with the bars and solidified the fact why he was the best person to take over from Rapman. Now, RA is back again to give fans a wrap up of the hectic year that was 2020.
From the Tyson vs Fury fight and the Wiley vs Stormzy beef to the #EndSARS protests in Nigeria and the Black Lives Matter movement, RA sheds light on some of the biggest talking points of 2020 and packed it all into a seven-minute track. He even took the time to shout out platforms such as LinkUp TV, SBTV and GRM Daily for being supporters of the UK music scene, as well as giving props to artists like Unknown T, M1llionz and more.
Whilst this year did have its good moments, it also had its lows that RA included in his wrap up such as the death of Pop Smoke and Black the Ripper as well as the global pandemic.
With each line, we are reminded of many events in depth that not only mattered to those in the UK but globally too. This reflective track displays RA’s talent in a way that makes listeners hang onto each line he raps.
