Sway Dasafo drops uplifting new video 'Gabriel

One of my highlights musically in 2020 was the return of Sway Dasafo. One of the most talented rappers in this country, in my opinion, Sway took a step back from the music scene to concentrate on family and business. But last year we got not one, but three releases from him, a collaborative album with Jaguar Skills 'I Want To Be, and 2 EPs 'Hitman' and 'Be A Champion.' And now he continues this momentum into 2021, with the release of 'Gabriel.'
This track is so necessary right now. With the bad weather and another lockdown, this one is sure to get you moving, even if it is in your living room. With producer New Reign sampling the Roy Davis Jr. and Peven Everett garage song, also named 'Gabriel.' The lively song and visuals are the pick me up we need to kick 2021 off right.
Sway Dasafo had this to say about the song: "I wanted to produce a cover version the depicted the times we're living in today. A sense of tension but also a sense of freedom, release and the feeling of optimism that we are entering a "new world" of resolutions and revolution."
