Caide Online releases wavy new offering, 'The Whole Mile', featuring Omz.
With the streets of Sheffield at its core, Caide and Omz take listeners on a journey through the ends; whilst outlining the pressures of chasing success. Visuals set an overcast backdrop for trials and struggles that two rappers have overcome. As the road to true self-made success is a long one, Caide uses this recognition to detail his grind to fans, for the whole mile.
'The Whole Mile' features smooth melodies from Caide, finely tuned by Bandit Luce on production. Omz lays down a tight verse, reminiscing about his own story with every bar that he spits. This parallels the nostalgic feeling created by the beat and melody. Through the echoing background adlibs and spacey vocals padding out the track, we’re gifted with a style reminiscent of classic Atlanta trap music.
This single follows Caide's breakout ‘North’, and shows the versatility he champions in his own sound. Although having dipped into different genres on previous releases, the rapper has always kept his Zimbabwean identity close to his chest. Caide says that he’s been motivated by the changing landscape of music in the UK, and we’re definitely keen to see what’s next from the Sheffield creative.
