Victoria Jane unveils melodic ‘Loverboy Freestyle’ visuals

Multi-talented R&B songstress Victoria Jane just gifted us with a new single, ‘Loverboy Freestyle’ along with a wavy visual performance to enjoy.
With a myriad of studio and city performance shots, the music video really characterises Victoria’s soulful urban sound. Self-edited entirely, she utilises smooth cuts and authentic filters to create an aura of mystique around herself.
The freestyle delves into the different emotions and feelings you go through on the come up. As someone that commits her life to music, and always keeps herself dedicated to the grind, this track feels like a moment for self-reflection. Also an explanation to the people around her, as to where she is as a creative right now. Whether this be a changing group of peers, industry associates or love interests, Vicky’s focused entirely on her output as an artist.
The production, curtesy of SKEYEZ, is smooth and seductive. A sound that will marry those late night journeys or solo moments in your thoughts and feelings. There’s definitely shades of OVO sound with PARTYNEXTDOOR and early Drake freestyles coming to resemblance.
The freestyle comes as yet another evolution of Vicky’s versatile catalogue. Tunes like ‘On my own’, ‘Sunday’ and ‘Flex’ are well worth a listen if you want more.
We spoke to Vicky about her experience as a Manchester artist on the come up, earlier this month.
