Newcomer Risky steps up to deliver clean visuals for the release of his first track titled ‘Sterling #Birmingham’. Immediately from the melodic sounds and soft instrumentals produced by Ghosty, it is clear there is a build-up to something that is going to be worth your while.
The impressive drill track is fuelled with punchy verses and clever wordplay. The rapper delivers each line with energy and a seamless flow that rides the hard-hitting bass production well. Serving UK swag with each shot, Risky does not fail to humour us with ‘6 + 4=5’ in this cutthroat banger. New to the drill scene, he has already managed to blow us away with his rapping ability and smooth flow over the drill beat which leaves an unforgettable lingering sound.
Dressed in an all-black tracksuit and balaclava, the visuals allow the focus to remain on purely the talent. From a cheeky feature of the Grinch to shots of him and his circle vibing, the good-feel energy remains throughout the track. Switching sides, ‘Sterling #Birmingham’ manages to capture both elements of being cold and entertaining.
