R&B singer-songwriter Wellingta drops an early summer hit in a new single, ‘Be True’. Featuring Wellingta’s sweet, breathy pop vocals riding a tropical Latin-speckled dancehall beat,
‘Be True’ makes for an addictive listen - equal parts inspirational, uplifting, and positive vibes.
Produced by PRGRSHN 'Be True' is a track featuring Wellingta's unique vocals with a mix of pop and R&B. The single was inspired by Wellingta's mentality to stay true to oneself, especially in these hard times of COVID-19.
“We should strive to be our true selves in these hard times. Some things about you will be similar to others and some will be different. It’s the combination of everything that makes you unique. Let go of what’s out of your control. Learn the lesson, forgive the past and move on." she stated.
The official music video was filmed in London and produced by Jay Money. With summer written all over it, you can expect some smooth dance moves as Wellingta pushes those positive vibes.
With her debut EP in the summer yet to come, hopefully, we can bank on Wellingta to deliver that summer anthem.
