Park Hill unveils visuals for trap-soul tune 'Broken Promises'

Park Hill has released his soul ballad ‘Broken Promises’.
Park Hill takes us through inner situational struggles in the dynamic between love interests above a mellow, guitar strung instrumental. In an emotive three-minute track, lyrics like “I loved you” and “what about all the promises” get straight to the point, and set out the intended sombre vibes.
Park Hill drifts in and out of song and rap, utilising auto-tune to give the track a contemporary edge. The 'Broken Promises' music video itself visualises the love-lust-trust dynamic as the central characters act out their frustrations. Some of the emotional scenes we’re thrown into include the bedroom, the car and the kitchen. Familiar settings for relationship conflict, that many of us will be able to relate to.
The North West London native describes his sound as descriptive storytelling combined with creative melodies – a style he’s tagged as ‘trapwave’. He has two studio projects ‘A Beautiful Struggle’ and ‘Homecoming’ that dropped in 2018 and 2019 respectfully.
If you haven’t jumped on his wave yet, maybe it’s time to start with this track.
