Youngs Teflon showed us just why he’s one of the coldest lyricists in-game, stepping up for a hard edition of Daily Duppy.

The freestyle is split into two halves, the first, borrowing an innovative jazz sample that cascades a feel-good rhythm. The second, transitions to a greazy drill instrumental flooded with outer-space eerie melody. The bars are calculated, well-constructed and creative from the onset.

Teflon emerged on to the scene in around 2008 and his subsequent releases have demonstrated his ability as an artist and sheer work rate. His Call of Duty trilogy spanning from 2010 to 2020 have a number of projects bedded between which exemplify his need to make music. ‘Gmt 2’, ‘Tracksuit Diaries’ and ‘Blood, Swvgg & Tears’ all stand up as great lyrical projects.
