The UK weather is expected to see record high temperatures next week as COVID-19 lockdown measures ease.

The mini-heatwave could enable Britain to break its record March temperature of 25.6C.

Weather conditions similar to France and southern Spain is expected on Monday and Tuesday, and London is forecast to get the highest temperatures.

The ‘rule of six’ is also set to return next week as lockdown restrictions start to ease. As part of the Prime Minister’s roadmap out of lockdown, up to six people or two households will be able to meet outdoors including private gardens. The rule will come back into force from March 29.

Police are permitted to disperse any groups of more than six people, as well as fine individuals.
