As drill continues to take on the world on a global scale, UK’s Headie One and LP2Loose have linked up with Ghanaian artists Smallgod, O’Kenneth and Kwaku DMC to give us a brand new track ‘Sinner’. This street hymnal is about staying true to your nature and environment, and is filled with star studded verses from artists of different cultures.
With a heavy duty beat produced by N64, the Asakaa boys weave their melodic lyrics with Headie One and LP2Loose’s slick verses to produce a catchy tune that fans from both countries can enjoy. O’Kenneth’s unique baritone brings a unique edge to the hook and joins each verse smoothly as we hear each artist drop their smoothest verses.
Shot in Ghana, YawPhanta captures the essence of the drill movement with the visuals of ‘Sinner’. With clean shots of the ever-growing drill scene, the visuals contain other artists of the Asakaa scene as well as Headie flexing with fellow OFB members. Smallgod has connected artists that prominent in the drill scenes both in the UK and in Ghana to create a track that proves how influential the drill movement is–and shed light on talent coming out of Ghana right now.
