Samm Henshaw delivers his beautiful new single 'Still Broke', taken from his forthcoming album 'Untidy Soul'.
The track features the incredibly talented jazz trumpeter Keyon Harrold and is an introspective song that delves into the depths of modern day living and goes deeper into the saying that money cannot buy you happiness.
For those of you who are just now being introduced to Samm Henshaw, make sure to check him out. With his jazzy style and his beautiful vocals, he has made a name for himself as incredible talent. His pleasant tone allows his vocals to fit perfectly over any instrument, especially the trumpets in the background of this new single. It brings joy on each listen.
The forthcoming album, Untidy Soul, is his first. The album is said to be about Samm's way of fully embracing his unpredictable nature. Speaking about his creative process and his music Samm says: "The music I make has never felt nice and clean or like conventional soul music—it’s messy, because I can be quite a scatterbrain and usually have a million different things going through my head at once”.
The visuals are a part of a mini series inspired for Childish Gambino's 'Atlanta'. Check them out below.
