Shay D enlists Lioness and Dibo on new single 'Best Shot'

Shay D, Lioness and Dibo join forces on new single 'Best Shot'.

It's safe to say that Shay D has hit the ground running for 2021. Her latest release 'Best Shot' comes just a month after infectious single 'Slice of the Pie', featuring Grime veteran P Money. Both 'Best Shot' and 'Slice Of The Pie' feature on her forthcoming album 'Speaking In Tongues.'

Featuring production by A Class, 'Best Shot' is a haunting and eerie offering intensified with gunshot samples and trap snares. Shay D lays down vulnerable bars with a fierce cadence whilst Lioness and Dibo deliver equally raw and honest verses. Having previously joined Shay on her tour, the track further shows their artistic chemistry.

Reflecting on the track, Shay D says: "Best Shot is when being vulnerable means you are at your strongest. When your fears, late night throughts and anxieties that could consume you, but you don't let it it win and fight through it, keep focused on your game that's 'Best Shot'."

With much of Shay D's work drawing influence on her upbringing in North London, as well as her youth work, 'Best Shot' celebrates vulnerability and honestly as a tool for self empowerment.
