Tarela delivers sweet new offering 'Hold Me Down'

Tarela shares his vibrant new track ‘Hold Me Down’, an Afro-fused track single taken off his upcoming project ‘ELECTRIC’, due this summer. Produced by Giggz, this latest offering hones in on Afrobeats, Dancehall and Pop influences and pairs them with soulful sonics.

Tarela’s approach to music is refreshingly fluid, with his lyrical content being based around the themes of love, motivation and the celebration of love. The blend of genres marries well with his lyrics, giving his audience of this sun-soaked banger to enjoy in the warmer months.

Leaning on the theme of love, TARELA explains, “’Hold Me Down’ is the first single off my five track EP ‘ELECTRIC’ set to drop this summer. The song was produced by Giggz and the strings by Sam Ofori added more life to the song. I simply wanted to portray the importance of the strength of a woman when she is loved and appreciated by her man. "Hold Me Down" is created for everyone who sees the importance of a loyal woman.”

The visuals directed by Ajayi Scenelock are just as loving as Tarela’s sweet lyrics, capturing him and his lover in various scenes. ‘Hold Me Down’ is a sweet track that will make fans anticipate the release of ‘ELECTRIC'.
