The Young Music Boss Awards IS BACK!

Young Music Boss (YMB) has announced the return of its unique awards ceremony, taking place on the 3rd of February 2022 in London. Recognising and rewarding the exceptional contributions of the music industry’s best young talent, The Young Music Boss Awards were born from a desire to celebrate the work of those often overlooked and underrepresented.
The ceremony recognises the achievements of the U35 trailblazers who work tirelessly to elevate the culture, across 18 categories - including Publicist, lawyer, Agent, Producer, Manager and A&R of the year, while It’s group categories include Publication, Live Music Platform and Radio Station of the Year.
Celebrate the best of the present and future on a night featuring performances by the most exciting artists of this time and presentations by prominent figures in the industry.
As the industry evolves, this awards show offers a breath of fresh air by acknowledging talent beyond the traditional music awards categories; reinforcing the important contributions made U30 music professionals and entrepreneurs in driving the industry forward.
The long list of nominations will be voted to a shortlist by a panel of industry judges before taking to a public vote.
Jusnah Gadi, Founder of YMB says: “Our aim at YMB is to empower and support young music professionals. The idea to develop an awards platform was driven by the apparent lack of visibility of so many incredible creatives and entrepreneurs doing massive things to energise the industry. We hope the event helps to bring them to the forefront.”
Dedicated to supporting and empowering the next generation of music industry bosses, The Young Music Boss Awards are part of a wider movement to uplift and incentivise young professionals navigating in a notoriously challenging industry. Previous events held by YMB include its Music Intelligence Seminar and Meritocracy Dinner Series in association with UK Music, with keynotes from Keith Harris OBE, manager of Stevie Wonder and John Gisby, Head of Europe at VEVO.
