Skengdo drops new freestyle on The HotSpot

Drill artist Skengdo has come through with a freestyle on PacmanTV’s The Hotspot.
The rapper flexes his skills with strong bars and delivery. We have become accustomed to seeing Skengdo as part of a duo with AM, so it's interesting to see him rapping solo. With the spotlight on the artist, Skengdo was more than ready by entertaining the listener throughout the whole freestyle.
This video further demonstrates why Skengdo is one of the best drill artists around. He boasts a jumpy flow, followed by aggressive bars, the type to make you screw up your face. The instrumental isn’t your typical Drill sound, which works in Skengdo’s favour. The beat has a softer melodic vibe to it compared to the aggressive hard instrumentals we are used to in Drill. The beat aids Skengdo with his flow, as his aggressive delivery stands out more.
We already knew Skengdo had talent prior to this freestyle, it will be interesting to see if the rapper takes on more solo projects moving forward.
