When Drake and Future collaborate, you know it’s going to be flames. This was evident with their 2015 project, What A Time To Be Alive. Five years later, and nothing has changed as the two artists have released yet another banger.

With Drake and Future arguably the biggest artists in the world, when the two come together for a song, there is always huge expectations. Like always, the two managed to live up to those expectations on Life Is Good.

Drake kicks off Life Is Good donning his catchy and melodic flow over a trap beat. In typical Drake fashion, the Canadian artist uses bars that are memorable, making it easy to sing along too. When Future comes in, the instrumental switches to a darker and more aggressive sound. Future rides the beat with his gritty trap-style flow. The second part of the song gives the listener that hype and gas we have come to expect when hearing the Atlanta rapper.

Directed by Director X, the visuals have an interesting concept. They show Drake and Future working ‘regular’ jobs, such as binmen, fast-food workers and mechanics. The visuals have a quirky element to them, keeping it fresh and entertaining throughout.

There’s no doubt that this song is a hit, and may be the first of many for the year. Let us know your thoughts on the song on Twitter.
